Abstract

Thedesignandinstallationofafirefightingsystemwithremotealarminaservicestationisthebestwaytoprotectworkersandfacilitiesfromexposuretooccupationalhazards.Andyet,itposesenormousproblemsintermsofimplementation,giventhemultipletechnologiesinvolved.Inthisarticle,wetakealookattheessentialstepsinvolvedinbuildingthissystemandthetechnologyused.ThisisthecaseoftheMOBILOIL/Kisanganiservicestation,whichneededtopreventandmanageafirecrisis,thusprotectingpropertyandpeople,andworkinginserenity.Theaimofthisarticleistodefinetheanalyticalandconceptualstagesofananti-firesystembasedonthetechnologyofinstallingmulti-parametersensors(smoke,temperature,flame),andlinkingthemtoacentralizedmodulewhichmanagesallthesedetectorsandtriggers,dependingonthesituation,acertainalarmsignalandactsappropriatelytoeacheventdetected,enablingthisservicestationtohaveasystemadaptedtoitssecurityneedsandwhichisdirectlylinkedtotherestofitsinfrastructure.
