EVOLUTION DES RECETTES GENEREES PAR LA TAXE GO-PASS PERCUES A L’AEROPORT DE KINDU DE 2018 A 2023
Abstract
This study focuses on analyzing the evolution of revenues from the GO-PASS tax in Kindu (2018-2023) and the impact
of COVID-19. Before the pandemic, growth was weak and unstable. Paradoxically, during the pandemic, revenues
increased rapidly, possibly due to tariffs or essential flights. Afterward, growth was sustained, but at a slower pace with
the recovery of traffic. The overall trend shows average growth, masking the significant variations due to the pandemic.
The study highlights the major impact of COVID-19 on revenues. It is recommended to further study the factors behind
the increase during the pandemic for optimized airport financial management
